Bringing a concept, and idea or an insight to life has fulfilled a deep passion for creative direction. One in which I have created a unique narrative through visual content and campaign work. The work showcased is a vision expressed through a collaborative process with carefully selected talent and crew to tell a story and visually delight. As creative director of the following projects this has enabled a body of work that has been curated to capture seasonal mood, brand aesthetic or a unique story.
The Havvy website was created in collaboration with our designer to build a unique e-commerce platform. It was imperative we ensure the site is visually enticing, engaging as well as informative of the brand, aesthetic appeal, product offer and quality. A well researched project that aimed to position the Havvy brand, whilst navigating creative direction and managing content.
Digital management across social platforms has been a key driver of marketing online for Havvy. Instagram has been a priority for visual storytelling and building a lifestyle for the brand that is true to its values. It has been a steady, organic process in which I aim to continually curate a narrative that is representative of the Havvy lifestyle as well as engage directly with the Havvy audience.
The organization and project management of the Havvy launch event to media, local influencers and friends of the Havvy founders. This has also included the set – up, participation and collaboration of outdoor pop – up shops in Cape Town over the summer for an opportunity to increase direct sales and a chance to introduce new customers to the brand during its first season.
It is strategy that provides structure for creative and one I find important for planning within a creative process. Having worked for many years in corporate retail within a brand environment as well as completing further marketing studies has enabled the growth of my strategic ability and intent. Herewith is an example of an extensive marketing plan thesis created as a result of one of my studies to showcase strategic marketing planning.
